Any device or method approved by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, that is used for the purposed of securing the mobile / manufactured home to ground anchors in order to resist wind forces. FunctionA Beam Clamp or Tie Down Straps primary function is to hold the frame of the home down to the ground anchor. As pictured above, this approved style of Beam Clamp is called a claw. Once in place it doesn’t loosen up as easily as it’s predecessor. |
